You’re gonna get hurt, a hell of a lot. You’re gonna need a medic.

 

You’re gonna get some velocity wounds and some major organ damage, so we got you covered, either during or out of combat, if an ally is nearby, they can perform Surgery.

 

The player who is performing surgery must be within 5 feet of the patient. The patient tells the medic what is hindering them most; for this example, we’ll use “Torso, Organ Damage”, the medic will perform an Organ Damage Check (D10 + Intellect + Organ Damage Skill + Category Bonus if applicable) against a DV of 25 - Medic’s Intellect.

 

On a fail, the injury is not fixed.

 

On a success, the injury is removed from the character’s Triage sheet. Though the patient will need further treatment in the form of medical items to restore lost health.
